Train Yourself!

If I asked you right now what kind of self-development program you're working on, what would you honestly say? Most salespeople never attend or invest in their own development, often grappling with tight budgets, difficult managers, and mediocre performance.


So, where do you start? Are you part of a local sales networking group? If not, hop on Google, find a local organisation, and make the call—it's a great way to network and sharpen your skills.


Did you know that out of the 100% of people who buy "How to..." books, tapes, or CDs, only 10% actually finish them? And of that group, only 10% (just 1%) change their behavior and put what they've learned into practice.


Why is that? It’s easy to feel committed when you buy that $25 book and walk out feeling empowered. But take a look at your bookshelf. Chances are, you already have enough content on hand to make a huge impact on your business or life—if only you'd read it and acted on the advice you've already invested in.
